A group of 30 Performing Arts students went to see a performance called ‘Broke’ at The Guildhall in Grantham on Monday 9th February 2015.  It was a thought provoking play performed by Paper Birds Theatre   Company, about poverty in Britain and the struggle that low-income families endure. It was both entertaining and educational and the actors portrayed convincing characters, using     dramatic devices. For some students this was their first trip to the Theatre but I am sure it won’t be their last! The students were a real credit to our Academy. The students were praised for their behaviour and it was commented on how  refreshing it was to see young people at the Theatre.  An enjoyable evening was had by all. Roll on the next one!
