Year 10 French Trip

On July 11th, a group of eighteen Year 9 and 10 French GCSE students left Ruskin for a five day trip to the Centre des Etoiles in Normandy, France.

During their time abroad, the group went shopping in a local market to buy their lunch for a picnic on the beach, ordered a meal in a restaurant in Caen and also visited a snail farm where the girls beat the boys in a snail eating competition!

As the area is famous for the Normandy Landing Beaches and Jour J (D-Day), they also went to Juno beach where they had a guided tour of the German bunkers in French.

Mrs Carter, Mr Harrison, Mrs Scoffins and Mrs Dodsworth would like to thank the students for the brilliant trip.
