Ruskin Students Celebrate Sixth Form Results

Students at The Priory Ruskin Academy were celebrating another set of excellent Sixth Form results on A Level results day, 18th August. 99% of students have passed their A level and Level 3 BTEC qualifications, with over three quarters at grades A*-C or equivalent.

Lee Steptoe, Head of Sixth Form, said, 'I am delighted for our students, and our staff body, who have all worked incredibly hard to achieve these results. It is wonderful to see Year 13 ready to start the next exciting chapter in their lives, with the vast majority heading off to university in September and all remaining students starting apprenticeships or employment. Year 12 students have laid an excellent foundation and can now continue their A Level studies in Year 13 with confidence'. There were some super individual successes including Head Boy, Sam Rose, who will go to Hull University to read Sociology, Head Girl, Samantha Bradley, who will commence Paediatric Nursing at York University, Gabriela Szczepanska who will study Journalism at Newcastle University and Jack Howard reading Law at The University of Liverpool.
