Assessment Calendar
We will be communicating with parents throughout the year using a variety of different feedback approaches. The table below captures what communication is being given throughout the year.
Parents are encouraged to use the SIMS parent app so they can be up to date with students progress on a day to day basis. Further information about the app and how to sign up can be found below.
Progress Checks – will give behaviour, effort and homework grades. They will also capture an update on academic progress in each subject. A variety of assessment strategies will be used to help capture academic progress, these could include mocks, end of unit tests and classwork.
Parents’ Evening – an appointment to discuss your child’s progress in their subjects.
Written Report – a report for all subjects which will capture a general comment and areas for development.
