Geography Field Trip 2014
Geography field trip to Betwys Y Coed
The annual Geography field trip took place at the end of September 2014 and this year we stayed at a Field Studies Council residential hostel. In order to help stuidents with their up and coming GCSE geography examination, nine Year 11 pupils carried out an investigation into ethical consumerism. The students visited a wind farm and a hydro electric power station to consider the environmental impact of electricity production. The students were also able to see the glacial valleys of the Snowdon mountain range. Retired Assistant Head Teacher, Mrs Dianne Hale joined Mr Lennon for the trip. All went well and the students gained a great deal of first hand knowledge.
