• ", , – !" This afternoon, Ruskin celebrated reading achievements throughout the year with an afternoon tea in the 'Reading Room'. Selected students took part in the event as a reward for reading the most books throughout the year and for their consistent passion, effort and enthusiasm towards reading. Students received certificates, vouchers and bookmarks whilst enjoying sandwiches and cake. A huge well done to all. We wish staff and students a happy summer of reading!

• What a glorious summer day for our Ruskin Creative Festival 2026! Students in Years 7 to 10 enjoyed a fantastic day of creative lessons before joining in the festival fun. The event was packed with highlights, including an exciting inflatable, a variety of stalls provided by Graves Events, live music, delicious homemade cakes, and a selection of food stands. Adding to the festive atmosphere, both staff and students took part in a non-uniform day, helping to raise funds for The Children's Bereavement Charity, supporting the incredible work they do for children and families during difficult times. A huge thank you to everyone who helped organise the day, we created a wonderful community event while raising money for a truly worthwhile cause.
