Physical Education
A student of Physical Education engages in activities that will develop personal health and fitness, confidence, leadership qualities, team work and skill. They experience a range of physical activity and sports in an individual and team setting, students get the opportunity to represent and compete for The Academy. As such the intent of the Physical Education curriculum is to engage pupils in sport and physical activity, to develop health and fitness strategies for life and to give a foundation that enables our students to be confident in accessing physical activity when leaving school.
