The Priory Ruskin Academy is excited to be one of only eleven venues in the country hosting ‘The Biggest Book Show on Earth Tour’ as part of this year’s World Book Day events.

The Priory Ruskin Academy bid an emotional farewell to Mr Shepherd on Thursday 17th December. During Mr Shepherd’s Headship the Academy has grown from two failing schools into one highly successful Academy with brand new buildings, an excellent Sixth Form, strong exam results and a culture of respect and aspiration.
On Wednesday 16th December 2015, over 100 Year 8 students went to The Guildhall Arts Centre in Grantham to see this years pantomime, Beauty and the Beast.
On Wednesday, 16th December 2015 the Academy held their Annual House Singing competition. The winning House was KNIGHT!!!

The Priory Ruskin's Morris House Academy Council Representatives, lead by Year 12 Carla Haith and Aaron Emburey, have collected various items for the festive season to be donated to Grantham Foodbank.
The Priory Ruskin Academy enjoyed its Christmas Carol Service in the stunning setting of St Wulfram’s Church on the 15th December.
On the 23rd October 2015 93 pupils and 10 staff set off on the footballing adventure of a lifetime to Madrid. The sense of anticipation amongst pupils, staff and parents was tangible as we loaded the coaches and said our farewells to travel to Gatwick. Safe to say that few pupils slept on the journey to the airport, such was the excitement!
From the moment we checked in at the airport it was action packed. All 103 of us successfully boarded the plane, though not without the small drama of Mr. Sayle going missing in the duty free! Luckily his group knew where they were going! To say he was relieved to see them was an understatement.
The Priory Ruskin Academy held its annual Primary School Choir Concerts on the 8th and 9th of December to the delight of all the parents that attended.
