The Priory Ruskin Academy’s Festive Market was an even bigger success this year – fast becoming a must visit event as people prepare for Christmas.
A budding young performer, Lewis Fitt in Year 11, has made his directorial debut with a show called `Oh What A Night`. Lewis and his committed cast were met by a standing ovation from the audience as the show came to a close on Friday evening.
Children in Need - November 2015. All students and staff took part and raised a record breaking £1,360.37 by donating £1 each and also Knight Academy Council members held a cake and tombola stall.
Mr John Asher from Grantham Rotary Club collected a cheque for £425.00 from Mackintosh House Captains. The money raised will be able to buy a full `Business in a Box` that will be sent overseas.
On 15th October 2015 The Priory Ruskin Academy Boccia team entered their third competition and a new Year 7 team participated for the first time. Click on the picture for the results.

On 12th - 16th October 2015, Year 8, 9, 10, 11 and Sixth Formers were given Awards for progress and effort in a wide range of subjects. Altogether there were five special Awards ceremonies in which parents, staff and the relevant Year group were invited.
PRIORY RUSKIN CELEBRATES OFFICIAL OPENING OF NEW ACADEMY BUILDING. Frank Green CBE, Schools Commissioner, was guest of honour and officially opened the new building.
The School Academy Council students raised £325.00 for Alana Mills, a three-year-old girl who is undergoing chemotherapy for Leukemia at Queen’s Medical Centre. Click on picture for further information.
On 8th October 2015, 24 students and staff from The Priory Ruskin Academy attended the Sir Isaac Newton schools lecture at RAF College Cranwell. Ruskin Engineering students, Cadets and 6th Form students took front row seats in Whittle Hall to join over 400 students from Lincolnshire schools to listen to a captivating lecture from Professor Mark Miodownik.
