Year 7 students from The Priory Ruskin Academy have been enjoying some French culture at the `Centre Des Etoiles` based in Normandy, a French residential centre owned by the Priory Federation of Academies.
The Priory Ruskin Academy students and staff raised £665.77 by collecting a donation of £1 plus loose change collections at break and lunch over a week.
At the Priory Ruskin Academy we want to encourage our students of all ages to get involved in the Elections, understand the history and policies of the main political parties and to have an insight into the democratic process. To achieve this we decided to have our own general election.
The Priory Ruskin Academy students took part in a ceremony at St Wulfram’s Church.

On Friday 20th March 2015, a group of Year 7 students from the academy visited Huntingtower Community Primary Academy to participate in their Historical day!
