Local Author visit April 2015
On 29th April 2015, Mrs Lesley Berrington visited The Priory Ruskin Academy and worked with a selected group of Year 7 students as part of their English course. Lesley is the author of a series of books ‘Hattie & Friends’.
On 29th April 2015, Mrs Lesley Berrington visited The Priory Ruskin Academy and worked with a selected group of Year 7 students as part of their English course. Lesley is the author of a series of books ‘Hattie & Friends’. Her books are used in hundreds of schools, nurseries & childcare venues to promote a positive image of disability for young children. It was a vey successful event and Lesley said that she had a really lovely day with the Year 7 students. She is already planning a return visit to Ruskin to judge a creative writing competition.
