On 3rd July 2015, Ruskin Flight Cadets were delighted to welcome Flt Lt Alun Pepper to The Priory Ruskin Academy.   The  cadets greeted the visitor in their full uniform, making a great first impression.  Flt Lt Pepper currently  has the title of Britain’s Manliest Man after surviving a serious health scare when he was diagnosed with testicular cancer.    The Mountain climbing, skydiving, Tornado flying RAF Cranwell officer is actually scared of flying!    Our Year 8 & 9 students listened intently to him talk about his  exciting career and his recent health  scare;  they were completely mesmorised by him.    Mrs Geeson, Academy Council Co Ordinator organised the visit and said that Ftl Lt Pepper was a complete inspiration to everyone.
