On 7th July, over 150 Primary school children came to the Academy to participate in a day of music. Students played Samba music, performed a selection of songs, experienced playing Djembe drums and also performed in an orchestra, which was conducted by Mr Malcolm Duckels from Lincolnshire County Council. Mrs Rossington had worked with the Primary schools before the event to help them develop their vocal skills as well as teaching them two of the songs. At 4pm, the children all performed their pieces in front of family and friends.
